Changshou, China

The museum building is organized by pavilions and courtyards, which remind the traditonal chinese architecture, although their geometry and composition are different.

The construction is mainly closed but it is opened at certain points towards the interesting surroundings views. The exhibition pavilions are distinguished by their shape, position and material, offering a perceptive promenade due to the views of courtyards and side views from the main longitudinal axis.

Natural elements are added in order to offer sun control and to optimize the climatic balance. Besides, these natural elements produce an image that reminds the traditional chinese paintings with vegetation.
