Luoyang, China

We opt for an architecture which recalls the interaction with citizens, an architecture at the service of use and utility, an architecture which supports efficiently the functional program and, at the same time, shows its spirit of being accessible and participatory in a cultural and social way. Our proposal ”builds” the space and only represents the pure and beautiful construction of the space.

The material is dependent on the change from day to night and on the crossing of the sun over its surface and its inside.

The proposal includes vegetation, different in size and color to assure that there will always be flowering trees around. The different sizes of the trees crreate an organic an more natural distribution of the vegetation.

The proposal respects the masterplan, placing the buildings following a radial distribution so there is the minimum obstruction between them. We decide to generate soft areas by disposing mounds which play with the different elements around the plot: paths, slopes, channels.. creating organic conexions that join the proposal.

We also propose to play with the different rooftops in a search of communication between the different architectural elements, in order to obtain visual and virtual relations and, at the same time, to unify the general urban plan.

Exhibition areas are being distributed following the Feng Shui principles.
