The plan and idea of the project should accomplish the following principles:
Educational function: improvement of intern functions and adaptation to students’ learning and professors’ training.
Guidance function: fulfillment of educational needs, relation between inner spaces and outside natural landscape, creation of a new cultural scenery, transmission of a perspective of progress, facilitation of sports and life.
Security and functionality: planning and design adapted to construction in Zhejiang region; guarantee of students’ and professors’ security; achievement of a coherent functional zoning.
Educational atmosphere: planning must accomplish the theme of ”Garden School”. It must show the philosophy and cultural connotation of Green School, which helps students’ stimulation, purify human mind, motivate investigation and docent activities. It is important as well the use of the natural landscape, in order to create a clean, ecological atmosphere, as an organic bond with the natural environment.
