Lvliang Cultural Center

The starting point of the project is the dialogue with the water, seeking the idea of infinite and different reactions of the materials in front of it.

We propose the building as a distribution of volumes playing in the space. The volumes’ sizes are smaller or bigger depending on the program’s needs, and its distribution generates incoming and outcoming parts of the building, which create different perspectives but always looking for the views towards the lake.
